The Driving Scotsman 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 was in desperate need of a honey restock so I ventured out to meet my good friend, John, for lunch and to get more of my favorite local wildflower honey! John has about 35-40 bee hives in Ocean Springs and sells the honey from his house. Y’all go check out Long’s Buzzin’ Honey 🐝🍯🐝

The Driving Scotsman started off this Sunday in the most wonderful way with a Gospel Choir Mass ⛪️🎶. I received a special 🥳birthday blessing and was doused with Holy Water✝️. Have you all been to hear this amazing music? The choir and band really put their heart and soul into every note. You can truly feel the Holy Spirit! 🙌Everyone is so friendly and they have the biggest smiles on their faces. If you haven’t been I highly recommend you stop by the 9am mass for this uplifting experience.🙏💙⛪️😇🫶

The Driving Scotsman wants to give a shout out to El Fornino Pizzeria 🍕in Biloxi across from Edgewater Mall. We got both the Margherita and Pepperoni pizzas and they were delicious! Love the texture of the crust, the sauce made from San Marzano tomatoes & of course their awesome brick oven. Fun Fact: The restaurant name, “El Fornino” means “little oven” in 🇮🇹Italian.

Another standout was our server, Jess. Talk about personality! She is so friendly and made us feel so welcome. She told us about their special “birria pizza” which isn’t listed on the menu but sounds amazing. We will definitely be back to try that. Oh and I almost forgot… we split the homemade tiramisu for dessert. So yummy!
