Yesterday hit heavy… it was your birthday, leo type m***a f**kaaaaa, and even though it’s been 4 years……still feels like yesterday. Dawgggg

I’ve been sitting here putting extra work in critiquing dog, cause I think when you left, i personally had to re learn some thangs — every word you ever spit still cuts deep, especially now.

You did give the world the truth, but it was from a different perspective, even when it hurt thru your lyrics.
I wish they would have more Riley P’s in the world.

You didn’t just tell your story — you told ours. You spoke on the pain, the demons, the struggles, the love, the levels with addiction and mental health way before it was something people even knew how to talk about.

You were ahead of your time, bro. From Long Beach to wherever your soul is flying now, your voice still moves people. All I ask is that people listen. Really hear what Riley P was saying. ’Cause there’s a lot of folks hurting out here in silence — and you were one of the few brave enough to make that pain into art.
