2 ships - Carnival Pride and MSC Seashore were spotted in dry/wet dock in Freeport, The Bahamas on 1 April 2026.

The Grand Bahama Shipyard (GBSL) in Freeport is a major cruise ship and commercial vessel repair facility, currently undergoing a $600 million expansion to become the world's largest, with new, massive floating dry docks ("East End" and "Lucayan") arriving in 2025–2026. Located 93 miles east of Miami, GBSL provides dry-docking, refits, and repairs for vessels up to 300m+ in length.

Carnival Pride, built in 2001, is in dry dock from March 15 to April 8, 2026. This maintenance period will include routine hotel maintenance, cosmetic enhancements, and technical upgrades to ensure the ship remains in top condition. It follows a major renovation in 2023. After dry dock, she will be home ported in Baltimore.

MSC Seashore, built in 2021, is currently undergoing dry dock, with sailings resuming around April 19, 2026 from Port Canaveral. This maintenance period includes routine technical updates and cosmetic refreshes to public areas.
