Sorry I have been MIA for a little while. Life has been busy but I'm ready to get planning your next vacation. With that being said let's discuss flights...

Flight prices are NO joke right now and if you’re only searching your closest airport, you might be leaving serious money on the table.

One of my biggest tips: shop around to nearby airports, even if it means a longer drive. Sometimes driving an extra hour or two can save you hundreds of dollars per person. Do the math. That gas money is nothing compared to the savings.

📍 Check every airport within a reasonable driving distance before you book.

🔍 Be flexible on which one you fly out of.

With my family of 4, I have been able to find round trip flights just under $200 per person going to Orlando, summer 2026.

This is sad as we have used Spirit several times. Tickets were always great prices. If you currently have flights booked with them you need to check your account immediately as they have been canceled.

If you’ve been looking at these Disney World ticket promos, here’s my honest take.

I’m personally not a big fan of the After 2 PM ticket unless you’re local or staying for a longer stretch.

You’re missing some of the best park hours in the morning when crowds are lower, weather is cooler, and it’s easier to get more done. It can make your days feel rushed trying to fit everything into the afternoon and evening.

The 4 Park Magic Ticket is a huge deal! This is what we purchased for our summer trip and it’s a great savings.
