Our first trip back was starting to wind down and we still needed to visit Animal Kingdom. I know, Mondays are for Main Street... but this Monday is for Blizzard Beach.

I was hesitant about going to the waterpark. It turned out to be such a fun addition to our trip!

I have great memories of visiting Cocoa Beach with my family when I was a child. I still remember riding the waves on a raft with my dad while my mom and sister played in the sand. Florida has no shortage of beach options to visit. All of them are at minimum an hour from Walt Disney World. I researched a few of them but when calculating the time and distance from Legoland and then back to the Disney Springs area Cocoa Beach made the most sense for us....

After a few days spent at Legoland we had an Epcot evening planned the night before we checked out and officially moved back over to the Disney Springs area for the remainder of our trip. We pulled into Epcot just before 4pm. We parked within STEPS of the park entrance. I was shocked. In under five minutes we had double checked our park bags for rain gear and redistributed bottles of water and Powerade and were about to scan our Magic Bands to enter....

Like so many others we had travel plans for spring 2020. Our plans were pretty big. We had a 10 day trip to Walt Disney World planned. We were also bringing other guests with us and many of our friends were were going to be vacationing at the same time. We really like having a later flight home so we get once last chance to soak up the fun. Of course, Magic Kingdom was our park of choice. Day 3 of our whirlwind Thanksgiving visit was scheduled to be another fun-filled day with lots of stops, beginning with a 7:30a breakfast at Ale & Compass located inside Disney's Yacht Club. This breakfast was part of a dining package that included reserve seating to the Epcot's Candlelight Processional. A Lyft ride was the fastest way to make it to the resort for breakfast.
