5 DAYS!!! 🧚‍♀️✨ The countdown to our Pixie Parks Travel Co Second Star Summit is officially ON! If I could only stay at one Disney resort during the fall... I'd have a really hard time choosing. 🍂🤎 There's just something about cooler mornings, Halloween decorations, and strolling through resorts like Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness, or Port Orleans that feels extra magical this time of year. While the parks get a lot of attention in the fall, don't overlook the resorts; they're part of the experience too. Cozy lobbies, peaceful walking paths, festive touches, and a slower pace make this one of my favorite seasons to visit. Confession…I’m late to the Star Wars party 🤷🏽‍♀️✨ I just started watching the movies this summer, and while I’m still trying to piece together the galactic lore (don’t quiz me 😂), one thing I have always appreciated is how immersive Galaxy’s Edge feels. Even before I understood the story, walking through Batuu felt like stepping into another world. Now I’m excited to experience it all again with a little more context! Tell me…are you a lifelong Star Wars fan, or are you like me and just now joining the rebellion? 🚀⭐

🐶 Did you know your dog can stay at select Walt Disney World resorts?

As a dog mom to Raya & Rosy, I completely understand the debate that happens every time vacation planning starts.

Do they stay home where they're comfortable? Or do you bring them along?

We haven't taken our girls to Disney, but I've definitely talked about planning a resort-only getaway someday so they could tag along and enjoy one of Disney's dog-friendly resorts. I think it would be such a fun experience to slow down, explore the resort grounds together, and enjoy a different kind of Disney vacation.

If bringing your pup sounds like something you'd love, Walt Disney World has four dog-friendly resorts:

🐾 Disney's Yacht Club Resort
🐾 Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground

If you'd rather not have your dog stay in the room with you, there's also Best Friends Pet Care, an on-property boarding facility that lets your furry family member stay close by while you enjoy the parks.

For most of our Disney vacations, I think Raya & Rosy would probably be happiest at home sticking to their routine. But I have to admit...the idea of a relaxing Disney resort stay with my girls is pretty tempting. 🥹

Magic Kingdom mornings are too valuable to waste. ☀️🏰

If you've ever rope dropped Magic Kingdom, you know those first couple of hours are the best time to experience some of the park's most popular attractions with lower wait times. That's why my strategy is almost always rides first, breakfast second.

The good news? Magic Kingdom has plenty of quick breakfast options waiting when you're ready to refuel.

🥞 Sleepy Hollow is famous for its fresh fruit waffle.
🥐 Gaston's Tavern serves up one of the park's most iconic cinnamon rolls.
☕ Main Street Bakery is the perfect stop if coffee is a non-negotiable.
🍳 Friar's Nook is a great choice when you're looking for something a little more filling.
🌯 Golden Oak Outpost is another spot that's often overlooked but worth checking out if you're looking to switch things up.

The best breakfast spot really depends on your family's touring style. Some people need coffee before they can even think about Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Others are perfectly happy to knock out a few attractions before grabbing a bite.

That's one of the things I help my clients plan—figuring out a park strategy that works for their family instead of following a one-size-fits-all itinerary.

Breakfast at Crystal Palace has our hearts 🍯🐻 Our family’s love for Winnie the Pooh started with our son, and somewhere along the way, the rest of us became just as obsessed with the Hundred Acre Wood! 💛 Between hugs from Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore, the bright and beautiful atmosphere, and a breakfast buffet we genuinely look forward to every trip (those Mickey Churro Waffles deserve every bit of the hype 🤤), this has become one of our favorite character dining experiences in all of Walt Disney World.
