The Cotton-Top Tamarin: Small but Mighty, and in Trouble.

These tiny primates, found only in the forests of Colombia, are full of personality, energy, and intelligence. But sadly, their population has dropped by over 80%, with habitat loss and illegal pet trade pushing them toward extinction. Today, they are one of the most endangered primates in the world.

At STEP 22, we believe that the more people learn about and appreciate the incredible species that share our planet, the more we can do to protect them. That’s why so many of our products—like the Tamarin Trunk—are named after endangered animals. It’s a small way to spark curiosity, awareness, and action.

Every effort to support conservation counts. Together, we can help keep these amazing creatures around for generations to come. 🌍🐒
