New beginnings are beautiful.

I love the feel of opening a brand new Flourishing Planner and setting out with new dreams and goals. However, its easy to fall into the mindset of “this year, I am going to be better at ______.”

My hope for the Flourishing Planner is that it serves as a tool to make all of our plans about Him and not about “me.”

Let's open our hands and give our dreams and creativity over to the Lord. Having open hands with our time and plans gives God the perfect opportunity to use them to create avenues for His glory to be displayed.

It makes these days of planning and dreaming for the year so much lighter.

Halloween costumes are very serious in this house. When Noah was 2 he wanted to be Batman because Gabe was Batman and they’ve coordinated costumes ever since 🥰🥰 we get dressed up a few days before Halloween for a themed photo shoot. I don’t know how long they’ll keep it up (hopefully it surpasses the “that’s not cool anymore” days.)

I’m going to be launching a series of prints soon that I’m super excited about!! It’s a blend of painted canvas with scripture, or in this case a hymn scripted along the bottom. I need help with deciding what verses to write! Let me know your favorite verse below!

The planner comes with a link to a website FULL of free pages that you can use to customize your planner:
Bucket lists, books to read, budget tracker, savings jar, home organization, year at a glance, and sermon notes are just some of the add-ons you can print off at anytime and insert throughout the year.

I love Tim Keller’s definition of work. He says work is “rearranging the raw material of God’s creation in such a way that it helps the world in general, and people in particular, thrive and flourish.

After all that’s what we’re “called” to do right? Create, cultivate, nurture, engineer, paint, design, build, heal, cook, teach, style, fix, coach, love, nurse, sing, organize, plant, whatever it is you do, do it for the good of others and the glory of God.
