Last day with 3D she’s been an interesting one to work with. Certainly the biggest wild I’ve ever worked with. She’s going to the same person who got the Curly mare. I’m excited to see her future progress!

Proud of 3D for walking on the halter and turning circles without bolting or trying to back out. We haven’t worked with the horses the last few days because it’s been too hot and we have been too busy taking care of all the animals.

Day 7 working with 3D. Worked on touch and baby steps on the lead. Jordan got hands on her for a different touch. My allergies have been bothering me something fierce today so sorry about the background noise from me!

Day 5&6 with 3D were pretty boring. A little bit of petting and a lot of getting to burn off some much earned energy in the field.

Day 1 of working with 3D

3D has sold but before she can go to her forever home she needs to be walking safely on a halter.
She came to us September of 2021 out of a wild herd in Nevada. She’s no longer really wild but we have never touched her and is truly unhandled. For 3 years she has gotten used to our presence when we feed the herd and we have been able to get close without spooking her off.

I’m going to try to upload a video every day of me working with her to get her in a halter. I only have an IPhone and a tripod so bear with me as I’m no videographer.
