Our tides seem to be getting back to normal. We actually have a low tide! Hopefully the water quality will be back to normal soon. We plan on being open for jet skis in the next day or so. Fingers crossed

Hurricane Florence update, we are open but we are warning everyone before jet skiing that this is flood waters and there is bacteria in the water the city of North Myrtle Beach as issued a no swimming advisory for the ocean with that being said we would rather not take anyone out into these polluted waters . So for now we will be closed for jet skiing for the next few days at least

Hurricane Florence update, spoke to coast guard at 9:20 am today, was advised to only operate at idle speed until beyond the north side of the casino boats in Little River. We will remain closed until this no wake zone is lifted. We are very sorry for any inconvenience.

Our shoulder season is very important to the sustainability of our business. This hurricane has all but shut us down for the season. With the latter part of the season being abruptly ended as it has been, I am looking for employment. I have been running my own business for the last 16 years and have great people management skills. I also was a manager for a large scale seafood restaurant for many years prior. I am seeking employment immediately. Anyone out there need an amazing team member please hook me up! 843-516-1401

Hurricane Florence update, we had planned on being open, everything is good to go, just found out this morning the US coast guard has posted a no wake zone from Georgetown to Little River. This is to remain in effect until further notice. It would take us 40 minutes to idle to Little River on jet skis, so with that being said, we will remain closed until further notice.

We just received this review on Trip Advisor and it's one of the best written reviews I have ever read in my life. So I copied and pasted it to this post. Here goes,
Great price, friendly staff, definitely recommend! We rented a Pontoon boat for half a day. Prices were less expensive than all the other water sports rentals. This marina is conveniently located in Cherry Grove. It is tucked away under the Sea Mountain Highway bridge - dont miss the dirt lot like we did. Use the porta potty on the premises, because you will have no access to restrooms during the excursion - unless youre fortunate enough to be invited to a barbecue at Michael Jordans summer home (its the one with two chimneys right past the wrecked shrimp boat). Pontoons are not permitted on the ocean because there is a 425% chance it will capsize. All adults should attend the captains briefing. The staff was extremely friendly and displayed southern hospitality - nicest interaction with any locals we had during our trip. They genuinely seemed like they wanted us to have a good time, and boy did we ever! We saw a shark and the wake from other boats was exhilarating and caused us to scream as all the other boaters laughed. The boat went way faster than we thought! Once we got passed the No Wake Zone, we hit the throttle and almost fell out the back of the boat. Bring your own food and drinks. We had a delightful lunch on our boat at Bird Island, heel sandwiches as it was the end of our vacation and we ran out of bread. Make sure to know how to properly anchor your boat in the soft sand of the island, because it might float away like ours did, oops. For more details please send me a private message. If youre looking for something different from your usual beach routine, this will knock your flip flops off, like it did ours when tide rolled in at Bird Island and carried them away with our boat.

Why You Need a Captains License...
Licenses are required in order to legally carry passengers for hire. This includes charters for fishing, sightseeing, diving, transportation, teaching or any use which is considered a passenger for hire situation. Many companies require them for boat deliveries. If you are ever being driven on any type of vessel, with a motor, in the water you should ask the person driving you if they are a licensed captain. And get them to show you their Credentials.

I gotta give a huge thanks to Dan Hensley, Brice Thomas, Ty Costello, and Buddy Cumbee for an awesome job today, you guys rock! Thomas Outdoors Watersports would be nothing without you. thank you thank you thank you
