When you think of yachting in the Mediterranean, the Greek Islands are one of the first things you think of.

The stuff dreams are made of, with many a fine sailor trying their luck in the winds and waters of the modern day Atlantis.

Poseidon himself could not have done a better job etching

I must share the tale of an extraordinary odyssey that unfolded on the azure canvas of the Aegean – the enchanting Santorini seen from the deck of a my yacht.

As my boat gracefully cuts through the cerulean waves, pushed gently by the Mistral, the ancient Greek gods whisper in my ears: you are one of the chosen.

The sea breeze carries whispers of ancient tales, the gentle fluff of the sails harmonizes with the lapping of waves, and the aroma of saltwater mingles with the promise of adventure.

Santorini, viewed from the deck, is not just seen; it's felt, heard, and smelled in every breath.

I basked in a symphony of hues during the nightly spectacle that is the Santorini sunset.

The sky transforms into a canvas, ablaze with the warm tones of gold, coral, and lavender.

From my top deck I saw the sun's descent into the Aegean, casting an ethereal glow upon the iconic white-washed buildings clinging to the cliffs.

She was my private portal to Santorini's diverse landscapes.

Savoring the flavors of Santorini from anchor in her picturesque harbors and dining under the stars at waterfront tavernas. Indulging in the island's gastronomic delights felt almost scandalous and forbidden.

From freshly caught seafood to locally made wines, every meal echoed the millennia of Santorini's rich culinary heritage.

In the embrace of Santorini's charm, a chartered yacht transcends ordinary travel.

Power cats are more popular in the Mediterranean as many people like to go slower and sit in luxurious areas such as St. Tropez and be part of the bourgeoisie.

This is a bit of our fancy.

I just did something I never thought was possible.

Ever since I was a young man in the cold and rainy north looking through Condé Nast travel magazines and wondering what the warm tropics were like.

I would see gorgeous photos of luxurious yachts full of beautiful people anchored on pristine beaches.

And it was magical.

Who were these beautiful people? Where were these picture perfect beaches with clear blue water?

What was it like to have dinner on a yacht while watching the sunset over a stunning tropical sea?

And fate, it turns out, was a helpful player.

Actually it was a simple finance trick that turned the tides.

Because I have a lot of friends who have the same dream and goals, I had an idea.

An idea that removed the biggest barrier to a dream British Virgin Islands vacation:

Fracking the cost.

What I mean by this is changing the math to our favor.

The total cost of the yacht was $10000, but that’s not what I paid.

Because I brought a total of 8 good friends on the yacht.

So instead of paying a whopping 10k for the trip, it only cost $1250.

Which was the magic I needed to make the dream a reality and book the trip.

So for 1/8 the retail cost I was able to go on the yacht of my dreams and as a bonus shared it with people I care about.

And our memories will last a lifetime.

So now I am the one that can tell others about the magic of the BVI.

And this is truly priceless. 🏝️

The Luxury Yacht Vacation special is the 87m beauty christened Ace.

This is a ship even Ace Ventura would have a hard time filling up with all his lovable pets.

Ranked among the most elite megayachts afloat, the 85m ACE was built at the Lürssen shipyard in Germany and has been maintained in excellent condition since her launch in 2012.

Her striking exterior lines and classically styled interior showcase the talents of renowned designer Andrew Winch.

With a substantial volume of 2,732GT she has an impressive array of lifestyle spaces and features.

Built with uncompromising quality, ACE’s exquisitely designed interior has an atmosphere of traditional elegance created through the use of opulent contemporary and classic furniture, fabrics and lighting with a rich, creamy colour scheme. Her unusual layout includes an owner’s suite on the bridge deck with a full beam cabin, sitting room, office and access to private balconies on both sides.

Four further and very spacious guest cabins are located on the main deck, accessed via a large sweeping staircase.

Inside and out ACE has ample communal guest areas, including a stunning top deck with shaded seating and lounging areas, and a centrally located air-conditioned tea room for those looking for a refuge from the midday sun.

The upper deck also has both a relaxed lounge and bar area leading to a large al fresco dining and lounge area aft, and a formal lounge area with formal dining located forward.

Leisure facilities include a large pool on the top deck and a stunning beach club area on the lower deck, with whirlpool bath and plunge pool located adjacent to a large spa with sauna and hammam.

Other facilities include a dedicated cinema room with tiered seating and sumptuous lounge chairs, a gym and beauty salon.
