What a beautiful day to honor our veterans, active-duty service members, and the fathers we hold dear. It was a heartfelt tribute filled with joy and gratitude. A huge thank you to the T-6 Thunder pilots, my fantastic “ground crew” of photographers and friends for capturing memories from the parade, and to this year’s sponsors for their generous support!

A very special shout out to this year's sponsors Empire Insurance Group, Inc., Peterson's North Branch Mill and an anonymous donor for supporting this year's flyover event. And also a heartfelt thank you to the pilots at T-6 Thunder who volunteer their time and aircraft each year to help us kick off the North Branch Midsummer parade, hosted by North Branch American Legion. We are thankful and proud to be able to continue this important tradition. Please join us in saluting our local veterans and honoring the many who have served Sunday June 21st at ~2 PM.

North Branch— We have one seat remaining! If you are a local vet and interested in a T-6 aircraft ride on June 21st, please reach out to [email protected]. These seats were graciously sponsored by Empire Insurance and Petersons Mill, so there is no added cost to fly. Passengers must weigh under 225 pounds and be able to climb into the aircraft from the wing. We take off from the Anoka airport just after 1:30 and it’s approximately a 45 minutes flight. It’s an experience of a lifetime.
