Heading out on the water for Labor Day weekend? 🛥️☀️
Before you launch, make sure everyone on board has a properly fitted, U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket—and actually has it on! Accidents happen fast, and a life jacket tucked under a seat won't help in an emergency.
3 quick tips before unhooking the trailer:
🦺 **Check the fit:** Snug is safe! If it rides up past your chin when pulled up at the shoulders, it's too big.
👧 **Kids first:** Children under 13 must wear a life jacket while underway on federal waters (and check your local state laws).
🥽 **Match the activity:** Make sure inflatables or foam vests match what you're doing, whether cruising, fishing, or watersports.
