🚨 NFA UPDATE — FLORIDA 🇺🇸
On October 11, 2026, Florida’s 8th Judicial Circuit State Attorney issued guidance stating that possession of an SBR, SBS, or suppressor without an NFA tax stamp or registration paperwork is not, by itself, grounds for arrest, search, or seizure.
This follows ATF’s October 9 announcement ending enforcement of certain NFA registration and approval requirements.
Machine guns and destructive devices remain fully regulated under the NFA.
This guidance is specific to the 8th Judicial Circuit and does not eliminate other applicable fi***rm laws.
