Meet Milwaukee’s own Felix Ames ❤️‍🔥 A soulful artist whose music feels like a place you can run to.

Growing up in Brown Deer, Wisconsin, Felix Ames has been singing since he could talk. While studying pre-med in college, he started recording in GarageBand with Beats headphones and a built-in mic, eventually realizing music was the path he wanted to pursue.

Since then, Felix has built a sound rooted in soulful melodies, honest storytelling, and spiritual reflection, anchored by an effortless, transcendent voice that can rock you to your core from the very first note. His music documents the highs, lows, and questions that come with figuring out who you are, with each project becoming a snapshot of where he is in life.
His latest chapter, Did The Rain Stop?, is a bruised and beautiful meditation on falling from grace and still reaching upward. “What Went Wrong?” feels like a conversation at rock bottom, pairing warm guitar and classic horns with Felix’s tender reflection on regret, heartbreak, and the search for forgiveness.

With a short project on the way this fall, Felix is continuing to follow his curiosity, create with intention, and let the music document the journey.
