What I planned for a weekend in Washington DC!

Such a cute city to explore. We hit the Smithsonian's Air & Space and Natural History Museums, then all the must-sees: Reflecting Pool, Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, Washington Monument, the White House. Dinner at was the perfect ending.

While soaking up the sun in Punta Cana, I discovered the ultimate packing list for a perfect trip!

Aside from the typical clothes, shoes, dinner outfits etc. here are 3 things I brought with me that were SUPER useful:

Sunscreen
Unfortunately, I am not someone who tan's. If I am in the sun too long, I burn really bad. Having multiple bottles of sunscreen in my suitcase was such a lifesaver from the harsh Caribbean sun!

Hat
Similar to the sunscreen, a hat was so helpful to keep the sun off my face during long beach or pool days! Not to mention they can look super cute too.

Waterproof phone case
There were multiple pool or beach events at the resort that I wanted to capture on my phone and a waterproof phone case came in handy!

On the other hand, here are 4 things I WISH I brought with me that I DIDN'T:

SPF chapstick
Sunburn on your lips is NOT FUN. An SPF chapstick would have come in handy during the trip to avoid chapped lips and redness.

Benadryl
We had all other medications... except Benadryl. It is always good to keep it on hand in case of allergic reactions. We did not find any for sale at the hotel, but thankfully someone in our group had a few extra to spare!

Power Strip
As beautiful as the room was, we did notice pretty early on that a lot of our outlets didn't work well or were loose. We had to take turns charging our devices, so a power strip would have definitely helped!

Pool Floaties
They don't take up much room in your suitcase, and they are great for lounging around in the many pools!

While visiting Greece 🇬🇷 for the first time, don't miss these 5 places:

📍 Athens
As the heart of ancient Greece, and the current day capital, this city is full of gorgeous architecture and history. From the hilltop Acropolis to the temple of Hephaestus, there is a bunch to see and do!

📍 Thessaloniki
While a majority of this city was re-built due to a fire, into a more modern 20th century European city, it still holds it's distinct charm. A highlight from this city is it's food scene! Enjoy many regional favorites from Bougatsa to Gyros in a gorgeous coastal setting.

📍 Delphi
Considered one of the most important places in Greek history, a great place to explore is the ancient ruins of Delphi. There, you can explore the archaeological museum and walk the sacred way to the temple of Apollo.

📍 Mykonos
The island of Mykonos is an elegant and sophisticated city full of world renowned restaurants and high-fashion boutiques. Mykonos is a great place to relax on the beach, shop and eat!

📍 Santorini
Unofficially named as one of Greece's best islands, Santorini is a great spot to visit due to it's gorgeous architecture, boasting whitewashed buildings, blue domes, and winding paths. However, it's local people, cultures and tastes are an added bonus! There is never a shortage of things to do on this island.
