My clients are traveling!

My New Yorker travelers are exploring the vast expanses of natural beauty of Australia and New Zealand. First, Australia:
- the iconic Opera House and Sydney Harbor
- sights of Sydney
- Manly Beach, a short ferry ride from Sydney
- the Blue Mountains and the fantastic wildlife — the expected kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, but also Boyd’s dragons, sea lions, fur seals, penguins, owls and other rare birds that they had never seen before (and they are avid birders)
- visit Cairns and a stay at a resort in the heart of a nature reserve
- snorkeling and a glass-bottom boat at the Outer Reef Mackay Coral Cay
- tour of the Daintree and Cape Tribulation, a World Heritage area with pristine beaches, rainforest, cool streams, towering mountains and freshwater valleys.

Next stop: New Zealand

My clients are traveling!

A mother and her 3 children (2 teens and a tween) had a fabulous time in Rome and Florence over the holidays.

What a wonderful time to visit the Vatican and the ancient Roman ruins. And not to miss the Trevi Fountain. Tuscany is great to visit any time of the year, but New year’s in Florence is a wondrous experience.

And you can’t visit Florence and not stop by in Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano, and experience a wine tasting.

My clients are traveling!

My adventurers who visited Turkiye did not stay just in Istanbul and environs. They also explored Hierapolis, the “Sacred City,” located at present-day Pamukkale in south central Turkey. Known for archaeological ruins from the Hellenistic period, hot springs and Cleopatra’s pool.

Special call out to Attila, their ToursByLocals guide who thrilled them with his attention and extra efforts to make their tour exciting but comfortable.

My adventurous New Yorkers have been traveling Greece: first Athens — can’t miss the ancient ruins, and then there’s the great food and the local culture. Then followed Santorini, luxuriating in the sun and the gorgeous scenery.

Next will be Turkey - something to look forward to!

My clients are traveling!
A couple from Seattle are exploring Spain for 3 weeks. Enjoyed Madrid, Barcelona, & Bilbao so far. Some photos from Bilbao - a fun food tour and, of course, the Guggenheim Museum.

My clients are traveling!
An extended family traveled from Seattle to Madrid to attend a wedding. You can’t go to Spain and not go to Barcelona, so they did! Stayed at a Haven Properties house perfect for all 9 of them. Visited Gaudi’s creations and enjoyed a sumptuous meal at Los Caracoles.
They have arrived in Madrid, enjoying a drink at a rooftop bar. More to follow from Madrid…

My clients are traveling!

My 4 DC ladies went on a Viking River cruise from Lyon to Avignon with a French Riviera extension.

They shared a few pictures (more to come) but I also have to share their glowing comments about Viking. Here’s an excerpt:

The Viking service was beyond anything i imagined! So warm, friendly, personal, even solicitous in the most graceful way. A day into the journey I began to feel like I was at home with friends and family; I felt welcome and safe. The food was unbelievably delicious! I loved the regional offerings. Each dining experience (3 full meals a day!) was like going to your favorite restaurant where you saw your friends and you knew the chef and all the staff were so friendly and accessible.

- The new ship Viva - “beautiful ship … food was great in all dining venues”
- Florence - the Duomo, David everywhere
- Taormina, Sicily- old town, Mt. Etna Voragine crater with steam, Silvestri crater

Beautiful quaint towns, medieval buildings, seaside scenes - all sights to behold!

The wonders of Budapest! Beautiful buildings - The Hungarian Parliament, the National Gallery, Matthias Church, thermal baths, Jewish Museum, among others; bridges; markets with handmade embroidery and all the paprika you can want.

What a treat to sail into the city on a scenic morning cruise!
