I am posting this because this is our neighborhood Dollar General, and the community deserves to know what many of us have been dealing with
Items are often placed in the wrong spots, and when the price at the register does not match the shelf price, workers sometimes get upset when customers ask for it to be corrected. Instead of doing a proper price override, customers are pressured to pay the higher price. I have also had concerns about cash handling, including situations where customers may not receive their correct change
Contacted corporate, but the situation became even more concerning when I found out that Edwin Figueroa is the General Manager of the store and Miguel Figueroa is the District Manager. They are brothers, which makes it feel like there is no real accountability when customers complain. This store is supposed to be a Dollar General, not a family-run operation where complaints disappear
People in the community have complained about wrong prices, spoiled food, unfair treatment, being accused of stealing based on how they look, and even being banned after trying to report problems. When customers call corporate expecting help, nothing seems to change — and now we understand why so many complaints may not be getting heard
Goes against what Dollar General should stand for. Customers should not be forced to pay the wrong price because employees do not want to correct it. Customers should not have to worry about spoiled food, unfair treatment, or being banned for speaking up
Do not believe me, call Dollar General corporate yourself and ask who the General Manager and District Manager are for this location
Our only neighborhood store, and it is a shame to see it being handled this way. Community deserves fair prices, safe food, respectful treatment, and a real complaint process. If more people speak up together, maybe we can finally get corporate to investigate and make real changes
