All aboard for the Oyster Festival! 🦪🚆

We're adding extra LIRR service on the Oyster Bay Branch to help you get there!

The festival is just steps from Oyster Bay Station, making the train an easy way to enjoy the festivities.

You can also take the LIRR to Syosset, where free festival shuttle buses will take you to and from the event.

🎟️ Quick tip: We'll be checking tickets at Oyster Bay Station during the festival. Please have yours ready for inspection when entering or leaving the station.

The leaves are changing, and they're falling from the trees 🍂 They may make a pretty sight, but they can be a hassle on the tracks!

When trains run over fallen leaves, they leave a slippery coating on the rail that causes train wheels to slide.

Safety first! When approaching a grade crossing, remember to:

✅ Stand at least 15 feet away.
✅ Wait until the gates are completely raised, and the lights stop flashing.
✅ Look both ways before walking.

There will be no LIRR service between Jamaica and Atlantic Terminal this weekend from October 2 at 11 PM to October 5 at 2:30 AM.

Enter these subway stations at no additional cost:

Heads up, Brooklyn riders!

Due to track maintenance, there will be no LIRR service between Jamaica and Atlantic Terminal during the following times:

⛔ Sept 11, 11:00 PM → Sept 13, 2:30 AM
⛔ Sept 18, 11:00 PM → Sept 21, 2:30 AM

During these outages, please use the subway. LIRR customers can enter these subway stations at no additional cost:

We will have service all season long at Elmont-UBS Arena Station to make your travel a hat trick of speed, ease, and convenience.

Pro tip: Avoid a last minute scramble! We check tickets at the Elmont-UBS Arena station so please have yours ready for inspection before you enter or exit.
