Throughout the investigation, there appeared to be a possible connection or attachment to a young child from the past. Communication was definitely challenging, but there were a few moments that may have brought us closer to some answers! 🔦

You could have your own little palace bedroom with a ceiling that makes you wake up every morning feeling like European royalty. 👑✨

Forget a plain white ceiling—I want dramatic artwork, gold details, angels, and a masterpiece above my bed! 😂🏰🎨

That ceiling is absolutely stunning. It definitely fits The Traveling Pierogi’s love of history, castles, and beautiful European architecture! 😍🇵🇱✨

When I visited the Wieliczka Salt Mine in Poland 🇵🇱, I was expecting to see the Seven Dwarfs! 😂⛏️

Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and D***y may belong to the world of Snow White, but it turns out that Wieliczka has its own dwarfs, and they have a story of their own! 👀

For generations, dwarfs and gnomes (krasnoludki) have been part of the folklore surrounding the underground world of Wieliczka. According to local mining traditions, these little underground creatures were generally friendly and helpful to miners, although they were also known for playing the occasional prank, hiding tools, pulling the wicks from miners’ lamps, or otherwise causing a little mischief. ⛏️😄

The mine’s dwarfs eventually became part of its artistic tradition. Some of the earliest salt gnome sculptures were created around 1896 by miner and sculptor Józef Markowski. Later, in the 1960s, Stefan Kozik created more dwarf sculptures around the Kunegunda Shaft, where the figures were depicted doing different kinds of mining work.

So while I didn’t find Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and D***y, I did discover something even more uniquely Polish: the legendary dwarfs of the Wieliczka Salt Mine! 🇵🇱🧂

And who knows…maybe they were hiding from me somewhere in the tunnels. 😂

🎓 Throwback to My Curry College Days! 💙💛

As the Class of 2016 celebrates our 10-year reunion, I’ve been looking back at some of the memories that made my time at Curry College so special.

One memory that immediately came to mind was when Fortune Feimster came to Curry to perform! 😂 I’ve always loved comedy because, for me, laughter is one of the best ways to take a step back, forget about the stresses of everyday life, and just enjoy the moment. Her performance had the whole room laughing, and it was exactly the kind of experience that made college so memorable.

I also had the opportunity to meet Fortune afterward, and what impressed me just as much as her comedy was how kind, genuine, and down-to-earth she was. It was such a great experience getting to speak with her.

This is one of the things I’ve always loved about Curry, the college created opportunities for students to experience things they might not otherwise get to experience, meet incredible people, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Now, 10 years later, as a Class of 2016 ambassador for our reunion, I’m proud to look back on these moments and celebrate the people, experiences, laughter, and memories that made our college years so special.

Here’s to 10 years of memories, and plenty more reasons to laugh! 😂🎓💙💛
