Would you climb a ladder suspended thousands of feet above the Austrian Alps if THIS was how you got to relax afterward? 🇦🇹🏔️🧖🏼‍♀️

We spent the day tackling one of Austria’s craziest bucketlist adventures before heading to for some much needed relaxation in the mountains!

First up: the famous Donnerkogel Sky Ladder, also known as the Stairway to Heaven. This 40 meter long ladder is part of an exhilarating via ferrata route featuring exposed rock faces, vertical climbs, and breathtaking views of the Austrian Alps. Definitely not for the faint of heart, but SO worth it!

And after all that adrenaline, we headed to Puradies Nature Resort in Leogang, Austria, for the ultimate mountain escape. Nestled among the Austrian Alps, this luxury nature resort combines outdoor adventure with relaxation, making it an incredible place to unwind after exploring Austria.

We thought we were leaving home for 3 months…

What started as a few months of traveling turned into an entire year of living out of suitcases, Airbnbs, hotels, and eventually the purchase of our own campervan to drive across the country on Route 66 🚐🇺🇸

Over the last year we’ve driven through mountains, deserts, national parks, tiny roadside towns, and some of the most iconic stretches of road in the country. We’ve watched the landscape change outside our windows, and slept in some pretty crazy places.
