A few things you should know about ELK Investigations:

✓ Licensed by the NYS Division of Licensing Services
✓ NYSIF-approved vendor — Region 4 and National Panel
✓ Attorney-retained work across New York
✓ ASIS PCI certification in progress
✓ Brooklyn-based, operating statewide

We're a small firm — and we keep it that way intentionally. Every case gets direct attention from a licensed principal investigator.

When should you hire a private investigator?

You don't need a dramatic situation to benefit from professional investigation. People hire us for:

→ Surveillance (matrimonial, workers' comp, insurance)
→ Witness interviews and recorded statements
→ Background verification
→ Covert purchases and IP/trademark investigations
→ Attorney-retained field work

If you have a question that requires facts — not assumptions — that's where we come in.

Due to concerns that there may be a conflict of interest when a physician refers a patient to a health care facility in which the physician has financial interest, New York State passed a law, prohibiting the physician, with certain exceptions, from referring you for clinical laboratory pharmacy or imaging services to a facility in which the physician or his/her immediate family members have a financial interest.

Old school camcorders vs. mirrorless cameras — which one wins when the sun goes down?

After years running the same field setup, I started asking harder questions about what my gear can actually do in low light. The answer pushed me to write about it.

New post on the ELK blog — real talk from the field, no fluff:
