The City of New Smyrna Beach will mark America’s 250th Anniversary with an unforgettable Independence Day celebration featuring The Players — Former Members of Chicago & Friends, presented in partnership with Atlantic Center for the Arts and ACA Live. The free community event will take place July 4, 2026, from 4 to 9:30 p.m. at Riverside Park, offering live music, food trucks, and a dazzling fireworks finale over the Indian River.

To elevate the experience, NSB Leisure Services is introducing an exclusive VIP Lounge inside the Brannon Center (105 S. Riverside Dr.), open from 4 to 10 p.m. Guests will enjoy premium views of the fireworks show, live entertainment, and a cash bar inside the comfort of the Brannon Center. VIP access will include the ability to go to and from the delicious selection of food trucks lining Riverside Drive. Bring your cuisine of choice inside and enjoy the cool air conditioning before the celebration gets kicked off! Rising local country star, Jordan Redding will open the live musical performances at 6 pm before The Players take to the stage at 7:30 p.m. and rock the park until the grand finale of fireworks begins at 9:15 p.m. launching over the Intercoastal Waterway!

Early bird tickets are $50 through June 19, and $60 thereafter. Tickets are available at www.brannoncenter.com/tickets.

“This year’s celebration is not just about fireworks, it’s about honoring 250 years of American spirit and community,” said Leisure Services Director Rob Salazar. “We are excited to offer something for everyone to enjoy during this year’s celebration. Partnering with the Atlantic Center for the Arts and their ACA Live program has really kicked this event up to another level and we are ready to celebrate in style!”.

🇺🇸 This , the City of New Smyrna Beach invites you to a morning of honor, remembrance, and community as we pay tribute to the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a stirring performance by the Sanford Jazz Ensemble, setting the tone for this powerful hour of reflection.

Retired U.S. Navy Captain & Mayor Fred Cleveland will welcome guests before the Presentation of Colors by the Daytona Division of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps. Vocalist Dianne Weaver will lead the National Anthem, followed by the Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, and heartfelt remarks from honored speakers. There will also be a flyover by the Spruce Creek Gaggle.

Throughout the ceremony, enjoy additional musical selections from the Sanford Jazz Ensemble along with performances by the Harmony Sound Waves a ca****la barbershop chorus.

Witness the solemn Laying of Wreaths, sounding of Taps, and 21-Gun Honor Salute — moments that remind us of the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Of note, non-emergency city offices will close in observance.
