Monty’s Ark Adventures was proud to provide on-water support for Urban Swim’s Roosevelt Island Swim on July 25, 2026! 🏊‍♀️🗽🚤

We began the morning by transporting swimmers to the starting point at the southern end of Roosevelt Island. Once the swim was underway, Monty’s Ark moved alongside the participants, helping create a protective security barrier as they completed their course around the island.

At the finish, we were there to retrieve the swimmers and welcome them safely back aboard.

Monty’s Ark was selected for this assignment because of the boat’s unique configuration, which provides swimmers with convenient access when entering and exiting the water. It was an ideal opportunity to put the vessel’s versatility to work in support of an exciting New York City open-water event.

Congratulations to all the swimmers, paddlers, organizers and volunteers who made the Roosevelt Island Swim possible—and thank you to Urban Swim for choosing Monty’s Ark Adventures to be part of the team!
