Hi! I know it's been awhile since my last post but here is a spring time reminder. Be sure to check your boat's flares, fire extinguishers and nav lights. If you have a trailered boat include greasing the wheel bearings, check the trailer lights and the boat plug. A few weeks ago I just happen to check mine the night before a fishing trip and found it would not turn and expand the rubber stopper. A little WD40 and a soak in warm soapy water did the trick. Lastly if you have self inflating life jackets, check the CO2 cartridge and make sure they have not expired.
Have a fun and safe boating season and remember to bring the kids with you!

Great news for boaters living in Metairie, there is a new gas station with Ethanol free gas. A Chevron opened on the corner of Transcontinental and West Metairie and they sell 87 octane non-ethanol gas. I'd also like to recommend "Snug as a Bug" for all your embroidery and silk screen needs. Got to spend an awesome day with Glynn and Bridgette yesterday on their beautiful boat "Hot Lips". We practiced some basic boat handling and line handling skills. They were great students can't wait to work with them again.

Hi and thanks for looking at my page.
As Alyce and I were boating around Lake Pontchartrain I was thinking it would be nice for someone else to take the helm so we could relax, that's when the idea of Captain for a day was born.
Additionally, after much consideration of what is needed in the recreational boating world, I decided to offer some basic training on boat handling, basic navigation skills and how to trailer a boat with confidence. So, if you are new to boating or an ole salt give me a call for a day Captain or some training.
