Your dog is SAFE ❤️ and we hope you are ok

We don’t know his name yet… 💔
So for now, we’ve been calling him “Big Meat Head” 😅
He’s a big ol’ sweetheart… just missing his person ❤️He has accepted this temporarily… but would like his real name back ASAP 🤣

This dog was found after a semi accident near mile marker 85.
💔 We know there’s a good chance His owner is in a hospital right now with no way to check on him… so we’re trying to get this message to his owner.
We just want you to know:
👉 YOUR DOG IS SAFE
👉 HE WAS NOT LEFT BEHIND
👉 HE IS WAITING FOR YOU
👉 WHAT WE KNOW:

🐾 His owner (a truck driver) was transported to a hospital
🐾 Due to HIPPA privacy laws, we cannot confirm which hospital
🐾 We do NOT believe he was taken to our local hospital

Because of this, we’re worried his may try to contact a different humane society or stray holding facility to look for his dog — and not know he is with us.

👉 PLEASE HELP US FIND HIM IF YOU:
• Work in trucking
• Heard about an accident near MM 85
• Know a driver who hasn’t checked in
• Work at a hospital in surrounding areas and maybe know a patient matching this situation 👀
• Work/volunteer at a humane society or animal control facility that is in our surrounding area where he might contact

As crews were arriving on scene, they saw him running down the interstate — scared, confused, and looking for his person wondering what in the world just happened.
Because of them, he is safe today.
Huge thank you to: 🚑 Emergency responders who spotted him and protected him and
🚓 State Patrol & County Deputies who kept him safe until we arrived
