Swipe to see more and what's coming in the next week ⏩

I am so overwhelmed by the love and encouragement you have all shared on my last post, through DMs and even in person by stopping by my store to give me a hug 🫂 Some of you understood by sharing the same or similar experiences with social media and while I do not wish anyone to feel the same way, I'm glad this post resonated with so many of you and maybe brought some level of comfort and reassurance that we are not alone (it definitely did for me) so THANK YOU for sharing your experiences, your thoughts and ideas. And your many many words of encouragement. Having a business can be a lonely journey and I'm so grateful to be able to finally let go and share some of how I really feel with you all. Rest assured I'll keep posting some beautiful things too, but last week's realization has given me perspective and ideas on what I want to do with social media in the future. For now it's going to be following my intention of letting go of all expectations. I feel a little anxious about it and about what you will all think, but that's the point of going through this 👉🏽 it doesn't matter, if it feels right!

I've been running this business for years and I've never said any of this out loud.

Somewhere between doing everything from my living room and having a warehouse and a team, posting stopped being fun. I used to share because I wanted to. Now I spend hours making something, post it, and watch 200 people out of 100,000 see it. Then I overthink what I did wrong, try something new, post more, and enjoy it less.

I know I'm not the only one. I think a lot of us are quietly in the same cycle and nobody says it because everyone else's account looks like they've figured it out.

I don't have a solution. I just miss when this felt like talking to people who liked the same things I did.

If any of this sounds like you, I'd really like to hear it ❤️‍🩹

P.S. You are not alone!
