Yesterday, we lost the patriarch of our family. Howard Wayne Kemper passed away at the age of 79, with his family by his side. Wayne, as he preferred being called, was a truck driver and diesel mechanic.
There wasn’t anything Wayne couldn’t drive or fix. He played an important behind the scenes part with Xtreme Diesel, often thinking through those more challenging repairs. He was the one man think tank, often pondering how to go about fixing equipment that just didn’t want to cooperate. He got the better of most of the gear that thought it had seen it’s last days, as his solutions would often get it up and running one more time.
Wayne loved his family and the grand children they provided him. He enjoyed conversing about trucks, trucking and how to keep them maintained. He will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him.
We will post more concerning the services, once that information becomes available.

Today the boys came along to learn the proper way to do a brake job. Working in the field, away from a garage full of tools presents its own set of challenges, but we worked together to get the job done.

It’s with a heavy heart that I have to tell ya’ll, I lost my big brother Mike Kemper early this morning. Mike was 56 year old and he had long battle with COVID. Despite being on a ventilator for a month his lungs were just so bad, they wouldn't heal.
I’ll be tending to my family and my brother’s family as we travel this tough patch of road. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to servicing your diesel needs again soon. -The Kemper Family

One thing about the Xtreme Diesel team, we don’t mind playing in dirt. So when we got the call about a blown hydraulic hose on a 605C John Deere track loader, we were all over that like leaves on a tree. Sure enough, down in the bottom of machine that goes to the lift cylinders, we found the problem. So now this customer is grinning from ear to ear because Xtreme Diesel fixed his Deere!

You don’t always get to pick where you breakdown. Today we found a driver at the fuel islands of the I-24 Truck Plaza in Manchester TN. The truck needed a new fuel line so it could burn the diesel he just put in the tanks. Regardless, we got the parts, fixed him up and got him on his way. So if you’ve got a broke line and you find that you’re stuck, call Xtreme Diesel and we’ll fix your truck! Remember, if your fuel’s not flowin’, we’ll get you going’.

We had the next generation in our Xtreme Diesel family on hand to learn how to properly replace the front spring bushings and u bolts on this truck. The boys learned how to press bushings and work more efficiently as a team, so this driver could get back to haulin’.
