🚢 Cruise tip for families with two kids: sometimes it is less expensive for 2 cabins than 1 for 4. This will give you more space, more storage, and more importantly, 2 bathrooms!

Here is an actual example:

Oasis of the Seas, 8 Mar27, 4 day Bahamas cruise
✅ Booked with cruise line, 1 balcony cabin $2999
✅ 2 Balcony cabins booked with us $2695 including $100 onboard credit!

This doesn’t always work for every date but can definitely help when cruising with kids.

Cruising with a service dog? 🚢🐾 Here is one detail you don’t have to worry about!

Most travelers don’t realize that cruise lines provide dedicated, private relief areas for service animals. You don’t have to guess where to go or worry about accessibility in the middle of the ocean.

**What to expect:**
✅ These areas are typically located on a lower deck or a quiet outdoor area.
✅ They usually feature real or synthetic grass and are maintained daily by the crew.
✅ You can often find the exact location by checking the deck plan or asking your stateroom attendant as soon as you board.

Pro tip: Make sure to notify the cruise line’s Access Department at least 30 days before sailing so they can have the area prepared for your specific cabin location!

If you’re a CPAP user or need distilled water for medical equipment, the last thing you want is a heavy gallon jug taking up precious suitcase space (or worse, leaking in your bag!).

Here’s the ‘hidden gem’ service most cruisers miss:

✅ Most major cruise lines provide distilled water for FREE if you request it in advance.
✅ Just fill out the cruise line’s Special Requirements or Medical Form at least 30 days before you sail.
✅ It will be waiting in your cabin when you arrive!

Pro tip: If you forgot to fill out the form, head straight to Guest Services once you board. They usually keep a supply on hand for last-minute needs.
