🎉 less than 1 month after me both children have their global entry cards.
The way it used to work was anyone 1 child under the age of 18 gets to go through with 1 parent who was eligible.
Well not anymore. Once a parent has it the children can apply under the adults page.
And good news for a least the airport we flew into no more asking for an interview. There was just a line for conditionally approved!
It was a very easy process. Would definitely recommend to anyone to travels frequently out of the country. 🤭

I have some thoughts on where my plans will take me in 2026 for my traveling adventures. And maybe yours as well!
Looking back on 2025 and completing my first international solo trip and bringing the new year in another country for the second time was an experience.
But for now I am now looking at places to go for my second international solo trip. 🫣💃🏼

I'm often asked how I manage to travel as frequently as I do. In 2025, my travel was focused: a few domestic trips within the US to NYC and Miami, and three transatlantic journeys. I visited five new countries and revisited two, exploring entirely new cities each time.

My approach is strategic and budget-conscious. I meticulously plan and track expenses—no hostels (I prefer hotels or Airbnbs), and I primarily use public transit or walk. In fact, I didn't use a rideshare service abroad until December 2025.

Safety, especially when traveling solo, and accessibility is my top priority. While my final trip of the year was a family vacation, my total annual travel expenses, broken down per person, came to $𝟓,𝟒𝟔𝟓.𝟕𝟓.

For that family trip, I was given a strict budget. Despite the current strength of the dollar, I'm proud to share that we came in $𝟒𝟎𝟎 under budget, keeping the entire trip under $5,000—even with last-minute expenses like expedited ETAs after a flight diversion.

🥳 Here’s some feel good travel news.
After months of being conditionally approved
And 9 rescheduled appointments (by me) 🫣.
I am finally approved for Global entry!
🥂cheers to more travel destinations and no more long customs lines 😆

Also did you know if you already have global entry, children under 18 need their own. No more 1 child along with an adult for global entry 😬

When is the best time to book your flights?? 👀

Peak travel season is upon us. Picking rhe best tine to book flights can be tricky. I would typically book as early as possible (when teaceling around a holiday).
I just so happen to still be tracking the same flight my family will be taking next month. We paid $2139 round trip for 4… it is now priced at $15,000!!!

I have also gotten a cheap flight within the 2 month range for one way for less than 200!

What’s your rule of thumb?

Italy was once again amazing!
I can’t wait to be back!
I just wanted to break it down for anyone who is looking to go!

I Had direct ✈️flights from jfk to
Rome. I did 2 nights at the seaside.
6 nights in Rome
2 timed entrance tickets
multiple 🚆 regional trains, 1 day trip with 🚄high speed trains,
1 bus ride🚌.
With a total of 4 cities.
All for around 🚨$1500 total.
This reflects the price for 1 person.
There were 3 of us that went which is a round about total of 4500.

After looking at my CC statement that included all the food, souvenirs, the European coca colas, gelato And glasses of wine! 😜
