How many cards are languishing in your drawer, unsent?

If your card stash is feeling stale, you're not the only one. 🙋🏻‍♀️

Instead of letting them sit there and guilt-trip you, swap out your cards for some fresh ones –without spending a dime.

As a recovering card-hoarder, I've learned that sometimes I just need to clear out the old stuff, find it a good home, and make room for a refresh.

Join me this Thursday. Bring the cards you're never going to send and leave with ones you actually will.

Stop by Kakao from 6-8pm. It's free and we'll also have supplies to make a card, if that's more your style.

there is a specific kind of panic that happens when you're staring at a blank card, the pen is in your hand, and suddenly you have forgotten every word in the English language. 😱

you know what you feel. you just don't know how to make it turn into sentences. that's not a you problem. that's a nobody-ever-showed-us problem.

🖊️ save this for the next time someone you love needs a card and you need a reminder that the blank page panic affects us all. (and whoever you're writing to is going to appreciate you so much, whether your words are "perfect" or not)

"you're doing a really hard job and you're absolutely crushing it. keep raising an awesome human" or humans! there are two versions. 😉

I'll have all the supplies you need to make a card, and the cafe will be open for you to get a tasty beverage. ☕️🍵💌 say what you will about the Seattle Freeze, this is one night where that won't be in effect! bring yourself, bring a buddy. if you don't want to make a card, you're still welcome to come hang.

Mother’s Day is one of the biggest days in the greeting card industry.

It’s also one of the most complicated days for a lot of people.

For people who want to be moms and aren’t or can’t. For stepmoms and bonus moms who don’t always get counted. For people who have lost their mom. For people who don’t speak to their mom. For people who had a “second mom” who showed up in ways that mattered deeply.

The greeting card aisle doesn’t always have something for all of that.
