✨ **Trip of the Week: Iceland 🇮🇸**

I’ve been thinking about Iceland a lot lately.

Maybe it’s because I just had clients there, and at the same time, I’ve been planning another Iceland adventure for a family of four celebrating New Year’s there.

Two very different trips. Same destination. And that’s one of the things I love about Iceland.

My first clients were a couple spending their time in and around Reykjavik, getting to know the city through its food and culture while adding in some of those bucket-list Iceland experiences. The Blue Lagoon. A Northern Lights adventure. And plenty of time to simply enjoy the atmosphere of this incredible place.

For my family of four, we’re taking a very different approach. They’ll be spending New Year’s in Iceland and exploring beyond Reykjavik, including the stunning South Coast. I’ve put together a combination of private and shared tours so they can experience the waterfalls, landscapes and natural beauty Iceland is known for, while also having opportunities to experience New Year’s alongside the locals.

And that’s really where I come in.

I’m not just looking at what looks good on a destination website. I’m thinking about **how you actually like to travel**, what experiences make sense together, where you should spend your time, and when a private experience is worth the splurge versus when a shared tour makes more sense.

So who would I recommend Iceland to?

I especially love Iceland for families with older kids because there is SO much to see and do. Just keep in mind that some excursions have minimum age requirements, which is something I take into consideration when building the itinerary.

Trip of the Week 🚢

Presidents Day weekend. Valentine's Day. The Super Bowl. All on the same weekend, and for the first time ever, all three land on the same day.

So here's the question: kid-free date night, watch the game, or get on a boat?

Why not all three.
