Action Elevator Company Action Elevator is a true full service elevator maintenance company servicing the DMV area.

Based upon decades of experience within the vertical transportation industry, Action Elevator was founded upon the belief that the elevator service industry is falling terribly short in meeting the needs of their customers. It is a feeling that is palpable in our daily discussions with new clients. Whether it is a property manager, building owner, or facility manager there exists a recurring theme of frustration with not only the condition of their equipment but also the difficulty with which they have in obtaining the elevator services that they so desperately need. Between reliable PM performance, quality repair needs and third party safety inspection reports, elevator managers and owners were searching for a “no non-sense” alternative to the industry status quo.

Please join us in welcoming Matt Walsh to the Action Elevator team as our new Director of Safety.

Matt brings 14 years of experience in environment, health and safety, most recently serving as an EHS Manager supporting 10 offices and approximately 800 employees. He also brings extensive industry knowledge across maintenance, service, repair, modernization and new construction, with a career spent working directly on job sites and in hoistways.

Matt’s credentials include:

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
• Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
• OSHA 500 certified to teach OSHA 10- and 30-hour courses
• Degree in Safety from Illinois State University
• Began his career as an intern with OSHA

We’re excited to have Matt on board and look forward to the experience and leadership he brings to the Action Elevator team.

Catherine joins Action Elevator as Senior Business Manager for our Northern Virginia region, bringing 10 years of elevator industry experience and a strong background in sales, business development, customer relationships, and leadership.

Throughout her career, Catherine has built a reputation for delivering results while helping customers make informed decisions around elevator safety, reliability, performance, and long-term planning.

Outside of work, Catherine is a certified yoga instructor who enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and being with friends and family. She’s also excited to be back on the East Coast and closer to family.
