Nantucket in the summer is different.

The Nantucket Hotel & Resort is the kind of place that makes people start looking at Zillow halfway through the trip.

Big hydrangeas. White bikes. Boat shoes. Kids running around with ice cream. Aperol spritzes after the beach. It’s basically a Nancy Meyers movie in real life.

What I like about this hotel specifically is you can walk everywhere. Downtown, the harbor, restaurants, the beach, no complicated logistics.

It’s also one of the only year-round luxury resorts on the island, which says a lot about how established it is.

If New England summer has been on your list, this is your sign.

DM me and I’ll set you up properly.

I just went behind the scenes with Belmond’s leadership as they unveil the transformations of two Belmond icons:

From Florence’s Villa San Michele, a 15th-century monastery newly unveiled after an 18-month restoration, to Venice’s Hotel Cipriani, hailed as perhaps the city’s OG hotel now entering its second phase of upgrades.

These icons aren’t simply being refreshed, they’re being recalibrated for the next era of luxury.

Through Belmond’s Bellini Club, I’m able to get my clients upgrades, daily breakfast, hotel credits, and VIP treatment.

Everything’s handled before you even check-in. DM me.

People don’t realize they regret the trips they didn’t take. The family time that becomes harder to find, the chaos of life, the passage of time.

But the trips you did take…
The ease of being in a hotel where your only job is to enjoy yourself, the inside jokes that follow you home, the joy seeing the ocean gives you, the feeling of being somewhere that feels a lifetime away from your daily life.
Those moments stay with you.

Alila Ventana is tucked into the Red Wood forest on the coast of Big Sur, California. It’s different than the usual, and perfect for cultivating moments that feel so different, so special, they stay with you long after you’ve returned.

I know how special… how important, the memories that will be made on trips are. I’d love to be a part of making it all the more special.

Mallorca is quietly becoming one of the most sought-after luxury destinations in Europe right now.

And the newly unveiled Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca is exactly why.

This isn’t the chaotic party side of Spain people picture. It’s cliffside pools, hidden coves, insanely good food, yachts in the marina, and a much more polished crowd.

The vibe here is understated wealth. Tennis in the morning, rosé by the water in the afternoon, dinner overlooking the Mediterranean at night.

Summer rates here typically start around the low four-figures per night, which honestly feels justified once you see the private coves, sea-view suites, and overall level of calm luxury Mandarin Oriental created here.

14 rooms.
7,000 acres.
A 1300s castle in Tuscany.

Castello Banfi – Il Borgo.

Private entrances. Michelin-star dining. A heated pool, rose gardens, and views over the countryside. Imagine truffle hunting with truffle dogs, wine tours of vineyards, Vespas, and slow afternoons done right.

This is not something you casually come across or book correctly on your own.

I handle that part.

Let’s talk!

Most people don’t realize you can be somewhere like this in just a 1-hour flight from Miami.

The Cove Eleuthera is quiet, tucked away, and built for people who want out.

Sunset cocktails at the bar. Morning yoga at 8. Pickleball, hidden coves, a turtle deck, and some of the clearest water in the Bahamas.

Simple on the surface. Done right, it’s a completely different experience.

I’ll make sure you’re in the right room, with the right setup, and perks you won’t get booking it yourself.

Let me know when you’re ready and I’ll handle it.

Overwater villas without flying to the Maldives. Did you know about this?!

Nayara Bocas del Toro is on that list of non-textbook stays in the Americas. Adults-only, sustainably built, a bit rugged, and under-the-radar.

I hear plenty of people interested in Panama, but most travelers don’t even realize Panama offers this type of experience.

This is for those who want something different and off the beaten path.

I want to talk about something that comes up constantly, especially from people who are otherwise very intentional about where they spend their money.

"I love planning travel — I just book it myself."

Here's what most travelers don't realize. Commission is already baked into the price of every hotel room, cruise, resort, and vacation package. It doesn't disappear when you book directly — it just stays with the large corporation you booked through. When you book with an independent travel advisor, that same commission gets paid to a small business instead. The price you pay is the same either way.

If you're someone who makes a point of supporting small businesses, this is worth sitting with for a second.

Beyond the money, there's the question of what happens when things don't go according to plan. And in travel, they sometimes don't. COVID shutdowns. Hurricanes. Flight cancellations. A hotel putting you in the wrong room category. These things are manageable when you have someone who knows the industry and can advocate for you. They're a lot harder to navigate alone at 11pm in an airport in a country where you don't speak the language.

People trust a hairstylist with their hair, an accountant with their taxes, an attorney with legal decisions. Having a professional in your corner while traveling isn't outdated — it's just a resource most people haven't thought to use.

"We don't really have a budget."

It's one of the most common things I hear at the start of a travel conversation. And I've stopped taking it literally.

It's rarely about money. More often it's about not wanting the conversation to turn into a negotiation before it's even started. Experienced travelers especially — they know what they're willing to spend, they just don't want a number to become the ceiling on the conversation before they've seen what's possible.

I get that. But here's where it gets complicated.

Every trip exists inside a set of real conditions that have nothing to do with how much someone wants to spend. Peak season availability. Migration timing on a safari. The difference between a destination at its best and the version that's currently being photographed and shared online — which is sometimes a very different place. Ignore those conditions early and even a well-funded trip can end up being the wrong trip.

The most valuable thing I do isn't finding the most extraordinary option. It's knowing when to say that a particular destination at a particular moment won't deliver what you're actually hoping for. When the timing is off. When the experience on the ground doesn't match what's circulating online. When spending more won't fix the underlying problem.

That kind of honesty is what makes the difference between a trip that's expensive and a trip that's worth the expense.

So yes — everyone has a budget. The more interesting question is what that budget is trying to protect. That's usually where the real planning begins.

Here's something most couples don't think about until it's too late: guest travel.

The typical approach is to add a list of nearby hotels to the wedding website and let everyone figure it out themselves. It's understandable — you're planning a wedding, not a travel agency. But it almost always means guests end up overpaying, staying at the wrong property, or scrambling to figure out logistics on their own in an unfamiliar place. Not a great way to arrive at one of the most important weekends of your life.

And the hotel courtesy block isn't the solution people think it is. That standard 15% discount sounds fine until you realize I have access to rates — including many that aren't public — that regularly beat it. Your guests aren't just getting convenience. They're getting a better deal.

I work with couples planning destination weddings to build fully customized travel for every guest — accommodations across different budgets, transportation, extensions for guests who want to make a bigger trip out of it. Everyone gets personalized service and direct access to me if anything comes up.

My services are completely free to you and your guests. No fees, no memberships.

If you're planning a destination wedding and want your guests taken care of the right way, send me a message. It's one less thing to worry about — and it makes a real difference in how your guests experience the whole event.
