Cleaning the engine room from the exhaust incident 🧼🧽
Extreme wash did not do what we expected! But OVEN CLEANER has become our go-to!

The exhaust boot MELTED 🔥😩
Here is a GREAT example of the importance of exhaust hoses… so that it doesn’t turn the engine room into a black room 🖤😞

Such a lengthy boardwalk to the beach!! 🏖️ 🏝️
Orange beach is known for their sand dunes because of the Orange beach mice 🐁 🐭 😄
Instead of walking that again… we took the jetski over instead ✈️🎿

Fiberglass boat repair part 2!
The strut was aligned and bolted up. Making it time to finish the fiberglass repair around it! 😊💯
1️⃣ Finishing it with fiberglass filler 🔥
2️⃣ Waiting for it to harden ⏳
3️⃣ Sanding/grinding it smooth 👌
4️⃣ Bottom paint 🎨🖌️

Now she is water ready 😄🌊

Fiberglass boat repair! Part 1
Steps we took in this repair:
1️⃣ grinded all the fiberglass around the hole so that the new fiberglass will adhere 👌
2️⃣ cut a piece of plywood and put it in the hole 🪵
3️⃣ fiberglassed the inside (some in the trunk area and in the crew quarters bathroom) 🙌
4️⃣ used polyester fiberglass filler for the cracks before applying the fiberglass 🔥
5️⃣ fiberglassed the bottom which turned out to be roughly 3 inches 😬💯

Now it’s time to align the strut!! Sadly, didn’t get footage of doing that but did get some for part 2 of the fiberglass repair 😊
