It's been a while since I have posted an update. How is everyone doing in school this year? We have found it to be a particularly busy year. We are doing classes on Tuesday, Co-op on Wednesday, etc. I think next spring, we will slow it down a bit. 2 or more days per week out is too much for us.

Heads up! AOP pricing increase for 2011! If you use or plan to use Switched on Schoolhouse, Lifepacs, Horizons, or Weaver in your homeschool, you might be interested in this. I just received the new pricing guide for 2011 and there will be a significant price increase as of April 1, 2011, in addition to a decrease in the allowable discount, so this translates into an increase of about $25 per set this year.

All, I don't use this forum as a sounding board for my political views. However, we need to be aware that the ratification of a defense treaty with Russia is imminent. This will severely limit our rights to defend ourselves, and even to intercept incoming missiles! If you think this treaty doesn't affect you, then just sit by and do nothing, and wait until it does! Please contact your congressmen.

Remove PostDonna Homeschoolingcentral I wasn't planning to take an extended Thanksgiving holiday away from homeschooling, but it seems that it has turned out that way. Haven't gotten much schoolwork done this week. Went to 4-H and did some baking there on Monday. Field trip to a museum today. What about you all?
