There’s something about climbing aboard a vintage-style trolley that immediately makes an ordinary trip feel like an experience.

Guests get to travel together, conversations continue between stops, nobody has to wonder where they’re going next, and you get a pretty great backdrop for a few photos along the way.

That’s one of our favorite things about what we do at Colonial Trolley.

Yes, we help move people from place to place ... but we also get to be part of weddings, celebrations, community traditions, company outings, family memories, and some very special days throughout New England.

We had such a great time being part of Celebrate Hudson 2026 and helping guests make their way around town aboard not one, but two of our Colonial Trolleys!

Holly and Ellie spent the afternoon traveling through the heart of the event, giving attendees a fun, easy way to explore everything happening throughout Downtown Hudson … from vendors and family activities to local businesses, performances, food, and more.

There’s something extra special about seeing a community come together for a day like this, and we loved getting to play a small part in the experience.

A huge thank you to the Celebrate Hudson organizers, volunteers, community partners, and everyone who hopped aboard and took a ride with us 🚋✨

Community festivals, downtown celebrations, corporate events, weddings, holiday parties, tours, and more — wherever people are gathering, we love finding ways to help make getting there part of the fun.

All aboard for Celebrate Hudson!

Colonial Trolley is spending the day in Downtown Hudson, helping festivalgoers explore everything happening throughout the district.

With activities spread across multiple locations, our trolleys will be making their way around downtown so you can hop aboard, enjoy the ride, and make your way from one part of the celebration to another.

Look for Ellie and Holly circulating throughout the event and for marked trolley stops along the route.

We’re always excited when our trolleys get to be part of community events like this — and even more excited to help thousands of people experience Downtown Hudson!

Celebrate Hudson begins at 1 PM. We’ll see you aboard!

There’s a lot that happens before a Colonial Trolley rolls up to pick up guests at your event 🚋

Today, two members of our team met with a client whose festival is coming up this weekend to take a test drive of the route ahead of time.

They explored the area, mapped out the best way to travel between stops, took plenty of notes on turns and timing, identified pickup and drop-off locations, and made sure our drivers know exactly what to do on the event day.
