We continue to create template letters that you can use to request evaluations, copies of records, and documentation. Honestly, if it didn't happen in writing, it didn't happen. I know it is hard to imagine that a school doesn't have your child's best interest at heart, but when their best interest costs money, they aren't going to be as forthcoming as you'd believe. We realize that sometimes knowing what to write can be daunting, so we have started creating a series of letters that you can download to customize to help you get through that roadblock. Dyslexia isn’t reversing letter or stumbling through a passive. It’s much more nuanced. Every child needs a on individualized education plan to help them close the gap and make effective progress. If you are hearing otherwise, be leary.
