✈️ Let me tell you something about being a travel agent…

One of the most stressful parts of my job is when my clients are traveling out of the country. I have quite a few traveling now through the next few weeks.

And honestly? It’s because I care. ❤️

When you book a vacation with me, you’re not just a reservation number or a confirmation email. I know where you’re going, when you’re traveling, what you’re celebrating, and all the little details that make your trip special.

So when one of my clients is traveling internationally, I’m watching things closely. I’m thinking about flights, connections, transfers, excursions, passports, entry requirements, weather, possible delays, and all those little things that could potentially affect their trip.

And when something goes wrong? I feel it too. 😩

Because I genuinely want you to have an amazing vacation.

That’s one of the biggest differences between booking online and booking with an actual travel agent. Online booking can give you a reservation, but you don’t necessarily have a person who knows your trip, cares about your experience, and is there to help when life decides to throw a curveball.

I’m not going to lie…this job can be STRESSFUL. 😂

But you know what?

The love I have for what I do outweighs the stress every single time. ❤️

I love creating vacations.
I love helping people celebrate milestones.
I love seeing my clients travel to places they’ve dreamed about.
And I REALLY love getting those messages that say, “Yvette, we had an amazing time!” 🥹✈️🌴

That’s why I do it.

So yes, being a travel agent means I sometimes carry a little extra stress because my clients’ vacations matter to me.

But I wouldn’t trade it.
