I know I don’t post often but I’m a constant scroller for no reason. So I’m leaving social on week days during lent. 🌸

Flour·ish • to grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment.

I’ve never felt connected or inspired by quotes about being like flowers. I guess that can happen when you’re born into a particularly unfavorable environment.

It’s been 20 years of safety. I’ve grown in so many ways, but my default is still survival mode. This year I want to break down walls and flourish with the wildflowers.

Last Christmas we were so blissfully unaware of how crazy life would get. Picking up and moving halfway across the country to a state we’d only visited twice. Arriving days before the biggest snow storm they’ve had is just an elevator pitch for the movie of our year.

It’s been absolutely wild and given me a new sense of gratitude for my family and friends.

I missed most of your typical holiday sales because I was busy enjoying the company of those around me I hope you were too💖

Major cleaning day today; with our current work schedules it takes a lot of energy get the whole family in the same place for a cleaning day. So I’m very thankful for a few hours of team work (and the for motivation).

Send me all your kid friendly cleaning supplies and/or low maintenance supplies that replace single use items! I’m working on my Christmas wish list 😆 and there’s nothing I love more than setting Cora loose with cleaning supplies she can be independent with.

This year for Christmas for my list I’m really trying to stick to three types of things.
1. This I will definitely replace in the next 6 months anyway
• shoes that are completely worn down, but are still my go to pair. 😄

2. Things that I use all the time but only need to replace occasionally
•face wash, dry shampoo, moisturizer, household cleaners and soaps 🧺
(Is this a Mom thing or what? I hate realizing I’m our of these things. It takes me an extra week to remember to sit down and add them to a grocery list or order online)

3. Items that replace single use items.
•cloth napkins, reusable “ziplock” bags for small snacks and freezer food prep, cleaning supplies 🧹
