Ryanair is my favorite account to follow 🤣

It’s not always going to be rainbows and sunshine, but it’s going to be alright 🥹

As a travel advisor living in Italy, I’m always surprised by how many travelers visit the Amalfi Coast and skip Procida entirely.
This tiny island in the Bay of Naples is filled with colorful fishing villages, authentic Italian charm, beautiful beaches, fresh seafood, and a fraction of the crowds you’ll find elsewhere.
If you’re looking for a destination that feels like the Italy you’ve been dreaming about, Procida deserves a spot on your itinerary.

Ready to experience it for yourself? Send me a message and let’s start planning your Italian island escape.

Twenty-two years of service. One unforgettable day.

This little video captures so much more than a retirement ceremony. It captures a chapter of our lives.

From celebrating at a beautiful beach club overlooking Baia Castle, to hearing stories that made us laugh and speeches that made us cry, to the awards presented to family members who served alongside the service member in their own way—it was a day filled with gratitude, reflection, and a lot of love.

I haven’t been a Navy wife for very long, but I got a front-row seat to watching Danté do what he loves and make a lasting impact on the people around him. His leadership, mentorship, and dedication have touched more lives than he probably realizes.

Looking around the room and seeing our friends and family gathered here in Italy made the day even more special. This place has given us incredible memories and even more incredible people. Having them there to celebrate such a significant milestone meant the world to us.

There was pasta, cake, shots, a trivia game reliving two decades of Navy memories, and countless moments I’ll never forget.

Most of all, there was an overwhelming sense of pride.

Proud of everything Danté accomplished over the last 20 years. Proud of the leader he became. Proud of the life we’ve built together.

Here’s to the end of one adventure and the beginning of the next. ⚓️❤️

Happy anniversary .coppock ❤️ What a wild ride it’s been so far! Cheers to many more 🥂

When your workday involves touring yachts in Naples, Italy 😎

If you’re new here, I’m Kayla! A travel advisor, military spouse, and mom of three living in Italy. My job is helping travelers plan unforgettable vacations throughout Europe, and part of that means getting out from behind the computer and experiencing things firsthand.

Today I was in Pozzuoli meeting with a local charter company and touring their fleet of boats and yachts. From Capri and Ischia to the Amalfi Coast, Sardinia and beyond, these are the kinds of experiences I love discovering for my clients so I can confidently recommend the best options based on real experience. Not just photos online.

Not every workday looks like this, but when it does, I’m definitely not complaining ☺️

Memorial Day, a little late but still reflecting on this experience in Catania, Sicily with .
While most people think of Sicily for its beaches, food, and coastal towns, I always encourage my clients to go a little off the beaten path and make space for history too. Travel isn’t just about seeing beautiful places—it’s about understanding them.
At the WWII Museum in Catania, I learned so much more about Sicily’s role in World War II, especially during Operation Husky in 1943, when Allied forces landed here in one of the largest invasions of the war. It was a turning point in the campaign to liberate Europe, and being in the place where it happened made it feel incredibly real.
The museum itself was one of the most immersive I’ve ever visited. From incredibly realistic wax figures to a recreated Red Cross field hospital and a bomb shelter experience that simulated air raids. It gave a powerful glimpse into what both soldiers and Sicilian civilians endured.
Afterward, I visited a memorial honoring those who lost their lives during the war. Standing there, seeing the names, was a quiet reminder that behind every destination is a deeper story.
As a travel advisor living in Italy, this is why I always encourage clients: yes, enjoy the famous sights but also leave room for experiences that teach you something. Step off the beaten path. Visit the museum. Learn the history. It changes the way you see a place.
Some of the most meaningful travel moments aren’t the ones you plan for but they’re the ones that stay with you after you leave.
