A department of the City of Manassas, the airport supports more than 100,000 annual operations and is home to more than 400 based aircraft.

Traffic Advisory: Single lane closures will be in effect on Gateway Blvd between Wakeman Drive and the Route 234 overpass daily from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM through Saturday, June 6, 2026. Minor delays are possible. Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted signage and flagger directions. We appreciate your patience during this work.

Reminder, there is a temporary daily closure of Runway 16L-34R scheduled for tomorrow (May 5) and May 6 from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM (Local).

-Runway 16R-34L remains open
-All taxiways remain open
-Aircraft may transition via Taxiways K, B4, V, and B1

Please plan accordingly. Updates will be issued via NOTAMs if conditions change.

There will be a scheduled closure of Runway 16R-34L on Friday, April 24th for additional routine maintenance work. Please make note of the following closure times and affected areas.

Runway 16R-34L
7:00 AM to 2:00 PM Local
- Runway 16L-34R will remain open.
- All taxiways will remain open.
- Aircraft can transition across the field using Taxiways K, B4, V and B1.

If work is completed early or weather becomes a factor, the NOTAMs will be updated accordingly.

There will be a scheduled closure of Runway 16R-34L on Tuesday, April 21st for waterblasting. This is prep work required for airfield striping scheduled in May. Please make note of the following closure times and affected areas.
