🚨 New Speed Enforcement Program on Colorado Highways 🚨

Colorado Department of Transportation has launched a Speed Enforcement Program using speed safety cameras in work zones along high-risk corridors. The goal: reduce speed-related crashes and protect drivers, road workers, and roadway users.

📸 Cameras will help enforce speed limits where traditional enforcement is difficult, especially in narrow or active construction zones.

Did you know speed cameras are coming to Colorado highways this Spring?
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is rolling out photo radar speed cameras to reduce speeding and improve work zone safety. The Speed Safety Camera Program will launch in spring 2025, starting with a pilot location and expanding to up to four additional sites. CDOT hopes this initiative will save lives by preventing dangerous speeding-related crashes.
How it works:
-Cameras detect speeding vehicles and issue warnings & citations
-Focuses on work zones to reduce crashes & fatalities
-Public will be notified 30 days in advance of new camera locations
