Welcome to Bayou Paws Pet Care, Kensli Bergeron! 🐾

We are so excited to welcome Kensli to the Bayou Paws team! She is currently a junior at Hahnville High School and is very active in her school and community. She is a member of the Hahnville cross country, soccer, and track teams, while also playing club soccer outside of school. ⚽🏃‍♀️

Growing up, Kensli has always been surrounded by animals and has experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, turtles, fish, chickens, and more. In 2024, her family began breeding French Bulldogs, and she currently helps care for 10 dogs in her home. Her experience has given her a strong understanding that pets are not just animals — they are family. 🐶💕

She will be available throughout the rest of June and July. She is excited to help care for your furry family members. Please help us give Kensli a warm welcome to Bayou Paws! 🐾💙

This week we’re celebrating the adorable French Bulldog! Frenchies are known for their big personalities, playful nature, and endless affection. Despite their small size, they have a huge heart and love being the center of attention. Whether they’re snuggled up for a nap or showing off their goofy side, Frenchies always bring smiles wherever they go. ❤️🐶

I’m currently looking for some help with my dog-sitting business! I recently started an internship and, while I still want to provide great care for my clients, I’m unable to take on as many clients without additional help.

The position would require driving up to 30 minutes to clients’ homes to feed, let out, and care for their dogs. If you’re reliable, love animals, and are interested in earning some extra money, please message me for more details!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share that I have recently accepted an internship opportunity. At this time, I am unsure of my exact end date with the internship, as the timeline is still being finalized. This is an exciting step for me professionally, but it has also required a significant adjustment to my schedule.

Because the internship runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., balancing dog sitting responsibilities has become increasingly difficult. As a result, I will not be accepting any new dog sitting clients for the foreseeable future. I will, however, be honoring all previously scheduled bookings over the next few months and remain committed to providing the same level of care for those existing reservations.

I truly appreciate everyone’s support and understanding as I navigate this new opportunity. Thank you for trusting me with your pets and for being so supportive throughout the years. I hope everyone can understand this decision, and I am grateful for your continued kindness and encouragement.
