🌴 JAMAICA'S COMEBACK STORY IS NOTHING SHORT OF INCREDIBLE … AND WE'RE GOING TO WITNESS IT FIRSTHAND. 🇯🇲✨

☀️🌴 We sure hope all y’all are looking forward to a wonderful summer… full of sunshine, sandy toes, beautiful beaches, spectacular cruises, and unforgettable adventures wherever the road—or runway—takes you. ✈️🏖️🚢

We’ve been knee deep in alligators 🐊 around here since the back half of 2025… and we've been delaying our summertime plans, pointing towards the back end of the summer.

But we're dang sure grateful to all of our wonderful clients who've trusted us to help them with planning out trips from one corner of the world to the other! 🌎

We’ve been blessed to have stayed so busy helping so many folks plan some pretty incredible vacations.💙

A big part of our own near-term travels is centered around one place that’s been on our hearts for quite a while… the beautiful island of Jamaica. 🇯🇲

Starting the very first week of September, we’ll be spending close to two amazing weeks there—doing a little work, a little exploring, and taking in all the beauty, culture, and heart that Jamaica has to offer.

But this trip means more to us than just turquoise water and palm trees. 🌊🌴

We’ll also be checking in to see firsthand how Jamaica continues to recover after Hurricane Melissa brought so much devastation to the island last year. You may remember just how powerful that storm was.

It came ashore as a Category 5 with winds pushing 185 mph. 💨⛈️

And while we all know a little something about hurricanes here in our part of Texas… Melissa was an absolute beast.

She changed lives overnight.
So many families across Jamaica were impacted, and so many hardworking people whose livelihoods depend on tourism were left trying to rebuild from the ground up.

And yet through it all… the spirit of Jamaica is still shining bright. 🌟

The people there are some of the strongest, kindest, most resilient folks you’ll ever meet—and their strength is nothing short of inspiring.

From right here in our little corner in Deep East Texas, we’re planning on doing our small part to help however we can.

We’ll be spending time touring some of Jamaica’s most breathtaking resort properties, visiting with local partners, and bringing back a rum boat full of information, firsthand insight, and plenty of inspiration for all of y’all dreaming about Jamaica for your next getaway. 🍹☀️🌊

One thing we can tell you for sure…
The people of Jamaica are as tough as a hammer!🔨

And like we both were taught growing up…
what doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger.

🛳️✨SUNDAY FUN DAY! 🛳️🫶

✨ Isn’t it something how one familiar place can bring a whole flood of memories rushing right back to you?

That’s exactly what yesterday felt like for us.

The second we stepped onboard Symphony of the Seas, all those memories from years ago came pouring back… and y’all… it was magic. 🚢💙

Our buddy Abe Hughes with Royal Caribbean reached out last week and asked if we had any plans on Sunday… and before we knew it, we're headed on down to Galveston yesterday to spend a little time onboard the absolutely beautiful Symphony of the Seas.

And y’all… it sure was good to see her again. ☀️🙌

For those of you who may not have heard… Symphony of the Seas has officially stepped in to replace Harmony of the Seas as Royal Caribbean’s 7/8-night ship sailing out of Galveston… and yes ma’am… there are even some 8-night sailings mixed in there now that head over to Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay. 🏝️🔥

What made it extra special is we hadn’t stepped foot onboard Symphony since we sailed her right after her inaugural cruise back in 2018.

She was our very first Oasis Class ship, and my goodness… she’s still every bit as stunning as we remembered.

Now here we are… 16 Royal Caribbean cruises later… and getting to walk back onboard her again just gave us the warn and fuzzy's. 💏
