10th ANNUAL AGGIE 100
Recognizing the Fastest Growing Aggie-Owned or Managed Companies in the World
COLLEGE STATION, TX. (Friday, October 17, 2014) – Texas A&M University recognized A-1 Rocket Industries, Inc. of Amarillo as a member of the 2014 Aggie 100 honoring the fastest-growing companies in the world, owned or operated by Texas A&M University former students. A-1 Rocket Industries was ranked 19th with a compound annual growth rate of 66.64% from 2011 through 2013. This is the second year in a row A-1 Rocket has been named to the Aggie 100. The Aggie 100, a program created by the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship in Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School, honors graduates from across disciplines for their entrepreneurial endeavors and success as business leaders.
A-1 Rocket is a site service rental company with offices in Amarillo, Lubbock and Floresville, Texas. A-1 Rocket services the construction, oil field and special event markets providing portable restrooms, temporary fencing, storage containers, jobsite offices, and trash collection.
Ryan Zimmer was asked to provide some advice to young entrepreneurs, “Work hard. Be honest. Love what you do.”
