There are two things that I have been putting on the back burner for a few months. However, these are things I need to do to operate at my 100%:
• my lashes
• gym

So this week, I bumped these two to the top of my to do list!

Helping my mind and my body THRIVE this week.

I wish I could tell the mama in those first birthday videos to hold on a little longer. To take another picture. To memorize the weight of her little body sleeping against her chest. To stay in those ordinary moments just a little longer.

Because she had no idea how much life could change in a few years. No idea that the future she was so certain of could become something she barely recognizes.

This has been one of the hardest years of my life. There are things I’ve had to learn to live with that I never imagined I’d have to endure. And there is a kind of grief that doesn’t go away when you wake up in the morning.

You just learn to carry it while the rest of the world keeps turning.
Life doesn’t look the way I thought it would.
And God, I wish it did..

I look back at these birthdays now and realize I wasn’t just recording her growing up. I was unknowingly preserving pieces of a life I thought I’d always have.
I didn’t know I’d someday hold on to these memories so desperately.

So please, hold your babies a little tighter.
Take a million pictures.
Make the memories.
Celebrate the birthdays— and go BIG!
Don’t wait for the perfect circumstances to give them a beautiful childhood.

Because sometimes life changes without asking your permission.
And sometimes the moments you thought were ordinary become the ones you’d give anything to live just one more time.

Happy 5th birthday, bambini. 🤍

If I could stop time anywhere, it would be in a moment with you.
You will always be my favorite part of every life I’ve ever imagined. 😭😭😭😭

.but here’s something we forget about travel:
**the world doesn’t wait for us.**

These are memories of my little girl at Pig Beach in Progreso. 🐷🇲🇽
A place where she got to experience something that future visitors won’t get to experience the same way, because the attraction has since closed.

I realized that the places we dream of visiting aren’t guaranteed to be there forever.
Neither are the tiny hands we hold while exploring them.

Travel isn’t always about luxury resorts, expensive excursions, or checking countries off a list.

Sometimes it’s about watching your baby discover something for the very first time, without realizing you’re witnessing a moment you’ll never get to see again.

**You can always make more money. You can’t always recreate a moment.** 🤍

A little reminder from my 4-year-old before you drop 💰💰💰 on birthday presents they’ll forget about by next Tuesday. 👀🤣

If you’re gonna spend the money anyway, consider spending it on a memory.

Here’s something cool about childhood: kids don’t just learn from what we teach them.
They learn from what they *experience.*

Traveling, exploring new places, trying unfamiliar foods, meeting different people— all of it helps build curiosity, confidence, adaptability, and an understanding that the world is bigger than their own backyard!

Shared experiences also help strengthen the bond between you and your babies.
Those little adventures become stories they tell, memories they revisit, and sometimes even part of how they see themselves.

**And no, you don’t need a passport or a $3,000 vacation to do that.**

Take the train somewhere new!
Go camping.
Visit a museum.
Get lost in a new city (figuratively, please 🤣).
Make a whole day out of something ordinary.

Because childhood isn’t just about what we give our kids.
It’s about what we expose them to, what we teach them to appreciate, and how we make them feel along the way.

**You’re not just making memories.
You’re helping shape the person they’re becoming.** ✨
