What do you wear when you are filming 30+ interviews over several weeks that will all air in the same week?

This is my behind the scenes Zoom listing of videos from a few of the interviews I conducted for the Second Act Business Summit that is underway this week. I wanted to share what ended up being my clothing strategy.

Someone told me to wear the same thing every time I filmed so no one can tell when I filmed. My schedule doesn't work like that. One day I filmed one interview, the next day I filmed five. I chose not to change into a designated outfit each time I filmed.

Instead I wore black. I rotated through about five or six black tops. The jewelry rotates around a bit, and there are good and bad hair days. During MY TALK, when I am not interviewing anyone else, I wore a different color. Tell me that color in the comments if you can find it on these two pics.

By wearing the same color each time as the host ...
✅ I made myself as the host be less conspicuous,
✅ I added consistency, along with the background--you know who's the host,
✅ I won't clash with anyone.
