Today, we pause to honor the true cost of freedom. 🇺🇸

On this Independence Day, may we never take for granted the courage, sacrifice, and service of the brave men and women who have stood in the gap—past and present—to protect the liberties we enjoy.

To those who wore the uniform…
To those who fought for our freedoms…
And to those who made the ultimate sacrifice…
Thank you.
Your bravery will never be forgotten.

And to my brothers and sisters in law enforcement, military, fire, EMS, and all first responders working today—thank you for showing up, even when the world is celebrating. Stay safe out there.

Let’s honor their legacy not just with words, but with how we live…with gratitude, integrity, and a commitment to the freedom and justice they’ve defended.

Tried something new today: enchiladas… in a bowl. Yeah, I was skeptical too. But two bites in, I was ready to sign a lifelong tortilla treaty. 🌯🔥. The tacos were amazing as well now the hot salsa, woah. That left a burning sensation. 😂

Forget the tourist traps—we hit up the spots where the locals eat. No fancy menus, no Instagram walls. Just food that slaps and service that knows your name (or at least calls you “amigo”).

This is why we travel. For the unexpected wins, the messy bites, and the kind of meals that make you wonder why you ever settled for basic.

Vacation mode isn't always as relaxing as it sounds 😅. Sometimes, it's hard to shake off the 'to-do' list, worry about what's going on back home, or even fully disconnect from work. We flew home for a few days for some events, and someone scooped up our condo for the weekend. (Shout-out to spontaneous renters for funding our travel addiction. 😎)

On our way back, we landed in Phoenix just after the border closed, so we decided to make the most of it and stay the night in Scottsdale.

Yesterday we Enter: The Wine Girl.
A wine bar that—of course—my wife LOVED.
Me? I enjoy wine too… but I couldn’t help thinking, Where’s the Wine Boy bar? Or at least The Old-Fashioned Man? Now that’s my kind of vibe. 🥃

But hey, it was a blast. Great wine, great lunch, even better company.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled beach life. ☀️🌊🍷
