I am Mom to Luke, who lives in Atlanta, but is in Paris at the moment as Department Head for Makeup on the Walking Dead spinoff being filmed there. We are owned by Tiki, a 2 year old German Shepherd, who rules our house. I earned my BA in Organizational Leadership from Covenant College and my MS in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University. I am President and Founder of the
Northwest Georgia Parrothead Club, a Jimmy Buffett fan club with a community service problem. I love to bring fun and color into everything I do, designing costumes, painting, creating art, clothing, hats, and planning new adventures! I volunteer with local charity events, having acted as Art Director for the Coosa Valley Fair (benefitting the Family Resource Center) for 5 years, serving as advocate on the Juvenile Justice Panel Review for children in the foster system, and initiating an effort with athletics at the college I work for called Chargers Stomp Out Cancer which benefitted Paint Georgia Pink, a charitable organization that assists those diagnosed with breast cancer with day to day needs like rent, groceries, etc.. I was an event planner for almost 20 years before moving on to Plan B, working at a local college as "Queen of Everything" (the actual title on my office door, I promise), getting students ready for graduation, and teaching Drugs, Crime and Society and Mental Health First Aid. I am an ordained minister, planning and officiating weddings. Along with "traditional" weddings, I have officiated Parrothead, LGBTQ, theme, and destination weddings.
! have been traveling with friends most of my adult life, and about 15 years ago, began planning travel for groups of friends. It gives me so much joy to assure that everyone is getting the most out of their travel experience, and most important, having fun! It is so exciting to me to see the joy on people's faces when they experience their Dream Vacation. After talking with Georgia and Fred, I decided to join Travel by Georgia to allow me to give you the best experience possible and assure that you have a fun-filled adventure! I am incredibly honored to join this team and help you plan your Dream Vacation.
